ERR . . . a 70+ THREAD??

ERR . . . a 70+ THREAD??

I'm approaching 70 (9 months away) and need something to which to look forward!

And, it looks like it won't be long before the 65+ Thread is going to be infiltrated by

BABY BOOMERS!!

So, should we establish a 70+ thread?

You've got a little while yet, the first boomer won't arrive until 1/1/2011.

At that point the entire 45-54 and 55-64 age groups will all be boomers.

That graphic is neither funny nor appropriate.

We who are over 70 and have made the effort to be in good shape have a hard enough time overcoming age bias stereotypes. Especially when it is propogated by someone who purports to be an elder.

Whoa Dnvr. I'm only 64 so can't even get into the 65+ thread yet. Don't rush me.

Just another ploy to be anti-social is the way I see it. OR to be exclusive, the elite group... ... I have to admit you more mature folks have some topics that us young guys don't understand...but for the most part when we talk about the real topic, that would be bicycles, we are all in the same boat.....................

I know that some define boomers thusly but isn't it strange to have a generation age span great enough for the youngest to be the children of the oldest?

Sorry, I took you seriously, something that others have perceived about me (incorrectly) as they read some of my more obscure attempts at humor.
