Today was a freakishly warm 13C so I hopped on the bike for the second ride of the season. I did 27 km a couple of weeks ago. Today I did 40 km and hammered on a few very small hills. It will be another two or three weeks before we start having consistently good riding weather, so we have grab the good days when they come. It will be May before I'm in good cycling shape again.
A few photos from the ride.
This is a lock in Ste Anne de Bellevue on the western tip of Montreal Island.
The bridge in the background leads to several good, albeit flat, cycling routes.
The giant golfers are out early this year.
Luckily the wind wasn't blowing off the river ice today.
