Bicycle fantasies - blogs and Websites

Do you have a favorite bike blog or Website that makes you sigh "If only..."?

Here's one I enjoy checking out now and then: A blog by a 50+ couple who tour the Yucatan on their folding bikes (with assists from local buses). We've been to Merida and some places a bit off the tourist path there by car so I've seen a few of the places they visit.

Definitely need sturdy tires and wheels, and lots of water (gets bloody hot!) but how often does your ride take you past Mayan temples?

Thanks for posting that blog - it's really interesting. From what I gather, the couple lives in Merida and travels out from there, right?

I've always thought that traveling with a folder would be a great way to travel. You can cycle through stuff that's interesting, and then when the going gets boring, or tedious, or weather gets bad, you could hop to the next place.

Great blog, anyway.

Yes. Beautiful city.

On Sundays the city gov't closes some main streets to auto traffic for bikes etc. It's called the Bici-Ruta program (Official Website in Spanish). Here's an English language article on the Bici-Ruta from another expat blog I enjoy.
