Tuesday was an air quality warning due to the fires in Canada. I rode anyway, but I was forced to ride at a much easier pace. Yesterday saw thunderstorms. Tonight the group took off without me and I 'had' to play catch-up.

I was able to ride my bike to work this morning. And because I planned well I wore my water shoes for the ride. I stopped at the local swimming hole and dipped my feet in the water on my ride home.

I did get a 16 mile ride in yesterday with my sister this morning on our bike path. Thank-goodness it was very early before the path got too crowded with others and before the real heat of the day!

Due to a change in the weather and mindset, I am out biking more. I got out yesterday to ride to the assisted living where I work pt. On the ride home I added in extra miles. It feels good to be out so often.

Indoor for now

Due to my health situation, I have to ride my rides indoor know. It is a bummer, but I can visit some new places and didn´t have to fly across any country. I ride ROUVY so today I rode Cape Point in South Africa. It was fun and really nice. But have to say, can´t wait to retutn for the real routes.

It was time to stretch the legs of this 29 year old. It's been awhile. Took it on some blues and greens this morning. Tough and bone jarring at some points but nevertheless a fun ride as always!

I awoke this morning late(7am) but by 8 am I was out for a bike ride, and got 21 miles in. It was a nice way to start out my weekend.

I am at work now, but rode my bike to get here. I stopped by the farm stand to get some fresh corn, but it wasn't in at that hour this morning. I intend to extend the ride home. The weather is nice and it is a great day to be out riding!

24 miles on Saturday to raise money for cancer research at the Pelotonia in Columbus, Ohio. This is their 15th year! As a 2 time survivor I appreciate all they have done!

I was planning on riding to work today, but I got worried that I would be riding in the rain. So at 6:45 this morning, I got on my bike and rode for 16 miles so I was able to get some riding in today.

10 minutes left in Today and got out for double my Sunday Ride. 26.62 miles and just a bit faster than Sunday's 13.31 miles.

Getting bike ready to head out after MIDNIGHT to ride our Daughter's Birthday Age. Might just take all night for 48 miles

update Biked 48 miles plus 2.05 extra for good measure = 50.05 miles today

Great ride and Great being a Survivor.

Flip Side for me is I'm 8 years surviving with my cancer and expect it will be with me to death or be the cause of my death.

Did a 12 mile ride today as that is all the time I had for riding. There is so much road construction in my town. It seemed to me that every other road I took was under construction. May the construction in town be finished soon.

A bad wrist injury from a fall in June has kept me off the bikes all summer. A test ride last month was a miserable experience. I had pain from every bump in the road, an inability to get into the drops using the front brake was difficult, and it was impossible to use the STI to change the front derailleur. But today I took a vibration absorbing steel bike with downtime shifters off the wall and rode the MUP to get coffee. It was good to get back in the saddle.

My cat knew I wanted to go for a ride today, so he woke me at 5am. I layed quietly till 5:30 am then hopped out of bed and by 6 am I was out riding. I needed to be back to the house by 7:30. So the cat did a good job. I can say I rode today.
