Rained out yesterday and this morning but I was able to get in a nice and warm 10 mile ride around the neighborhood this afternoon on the hybrid.

76 miles from Farson to Lander on Day 5 of Tour de Wyoming. Good legs after 300 + miles and was first rider at each rest stop. I think I averaged closr to 18 mph. The first 40+ miles was a constant 1-2% uphill grade. Perfect day to ride!

18.6 on a late ride today after work and dental appointment. Temps are down which made ride easy. Might increase mileage tomorrow to get better workout.

Did my 60 miler the other day, but with a rare South wind. What a treat to have a push on the last 15 miles. It makes all the difference.

After having to wait out three days of heavy t-storms I finally did my 30-mile round trip commute. To be adventurous I rode this beast. I was told it was probably a 1972 C32. It's not a great bike, but dang, it looks so cool! It is the only one of my bikes I hadn't commuted on yet.

18 miles yesterday in 90+ heat with 1050 ft climbing. I love flying down the mountain at 40 mph as much as I enjoy grinding my way up!

11 miles today, mostly flat through the orchards.

Started both days with a waterski - h2o xtc.

35 miles at the MUP today. Had to rearrange the route as the footbridge going to the other end of the park was under water at one end. Lots of rain over the past three days.

Only did 30 miles today. But that was on our mountain bikes in Fredericton, NB, Canada. City of Fredericton - Trail Information We are currently a 3 month RV/bike trip through the North East and Atlantic Canada. The road bikes are back at the summer place in CT and the old mtn bikes are finally getting some use. We're on our 3rd day in the Fredericton area and then heading to PEI for their Confederation Trail.https://www.gov.pe.ca/photos/original/tou_trailmap.pdf The riding is quite a bit DIFFERENT than the usual flat paved rail trails were are use to in FL. However, the FOOD is fantastic

38.70 miles today. Felt good but I need to bring water. On my daily 20 milers I don't need water but today I had to pull over and buy a bottle at mile 30. Boy did I need it. The last 8+ went fine.

27.40 miles with pouring rain at the end. Rode with a buddy who is experienced and he says the used bike I bought and currently ride is a poor fit and too small. Time for a new bike ?

A good 35 mile ride this morning dodging runners and rollerbladers at the MUP. Got in two good solo laps and one slow lap riding with my wife. Heading for Alaska next week so I don't know how many more rides I'll get in before we leave.

Jim, I'd like your take on the fit. I'll get a photo with me on bike. 142.5 miles this week. Will I see 160 next week ? Might try.

13 miles this morning on a Slow Ride sponsored by a bike shop. Had never tried this kind of thing before and it was............slow but steady. Averaged about 13 mph - the leader made sure to that we never got away from the cyclists in the rear. No hills except up and over interstate - most of the ride was on broad smooth access roads around the Indy airport. There need to be more rides like this that are less intimidating than many club rides are. On the other hand......I like the club rides. Riding the tandem on one in the morning.

Did a 106 mile organized ride in WV yesterday (Wheels of Hope, starting in Lewisburg), at least 3/4ths of it was in the rain. It was cold too, mainly in the low 60s. It wasn't the worst ride I've ever had. The scenery was still wonderful. I actually felt stronger after the ride than I usually do, and wasn't hurting as much. I think the distraction of the rain kept me from focusing on the other parts of me that usually take the punishment on a long, hilly ride.

The wife and I decided for a change of pace this morning and went across the county to the Upper Tampa Bay Trail. I did 32 miles and she did 23. Very nice trail with lots of trees and smooth pavement but I'm just not used to having to stop for street crossings and having the entire trail as a two way path. I met one of my riding buddies there but he had mechanical problems from the start so he left early to get his bike fixed.
