25 miles Friday evening while exploring some routes to local museums and art galleries for future reference. I've been late to a couple of events because routes that looked good on the map and via Google street view didn't work out so well in meatspace. Google maps and street view don't show some shortcuts, or which pedestrian crossings work better than others.

12 miles so far riding grocery grabber on slightly moist roads. Winds were already starting to kick-up for 4:30AM so switching out aero front wheel to low profile wheel for the LBS ride plus extra. Hoping for another 75 mile day.

Mostly sunny but still windy.More like a stiff breeze compared to yesterday. I'm at low energy today so I cut the ride to 19.1 miles on the Roubaix.

Yesterday: Biked to Work on BTWD but had to be at an early meeting so couldn't participate in the festivities and group ride from the southside of town to downtown Indy. 20 miles total.
Today: 56 Screamer miles on a club ride. The route took us over I-65 seven times. Those were about the only hills on the ride. One other modest climb. Didn't get on the 28T ring today.
I would have been fine with the medium/37 miles ride but stoker suggested we go the long route - gotta keep the stoker happy!

Finished my 6th MS 150 The Citrus Tour ride today. The team was all set to do the century, yesterday, but the weather forecast called for some pretty bad thunderstorms in the early afternoon. Ended up doing the 50 mile route, yesterday, and the 50 mile return, today, for 100 miles over the weekend. Ended up spending yesterday afternoon by the hotel's pool, since not one drop of rain fell the entire day.

33 miles Sunday evening and night. Intended to ride only a few miles because my legs felt mushy. But after 10 miles and a brief rest I felt better and just kept going. Got home near 11 pm.

12:24AM I was out the door today on my grocery grabber with music from the radio keeping me company to begin my 100 mile day in celebration of the 52 week mark since my first prostate cancer operation. Only biked for 22.07 SLOW miles but managed to find 21 cents in the bike lane while moving along at 11mph. Getting ready to head out again but this time it will be to meet the guys for the Tuesday morning ride and then add the extra by myself for the 100.

I rode 13 miles yesterday on the local rail trail. This is notable for 2 reasons. It was my 1st trail ride of the year as I've been running the roads and secondly the indigo buntings are back. They are truly beautiful birds. Gotta love them.

Kind of mixed things up a bit today. Got in a full lap (22 miles) with my buddy Steve, did a little over half of a shorter, second lap solo (11 miles) and since I lapped my wife, did the last 5 miles with her, for a total of 38 miles.

The group was moving mighty slow today so I only got to the 86 mile mark before halting that segment. A quick shower and off to radiology for a thyroid ultrasound of the lump on the remaining left lobe. Seems to be larger than a year ago so hoping it's not a prelude to another cancer.

Will be heading back out to finish up the 100 mile goal and add an additional 10 to 20 miles.

Beautiful day for a ride, light breeze, low 70s. I've been riding a road bike since early Dec of '15 and I hit my all time distance high today with 53 ½ miles.. I'm very happy, a bit tired but happy. For me it seems to be mental. I'll need to work on that.
