27.4 miles (44.1k) on the trusty ol' Aluminum Allez Sport (21lbs). This is still my second most fun bike out of the 4. 74°—88° temp range. Supposed to be considerably cooler tomorrow by 10°, maybe even arm warmers to start.

No ride yesterday, doctor visit and physical therapy for the wife. A nice 41 miles this morning in some slightly cooler and less humid conditions. Actually got a chance to get a good pace going without overheating.

Made it out at 2:48AM with temperature at 81F and high humidity again. On the Paramount so it was an easy pace 52 miles by the time I got back to shower, re-kit and get the Propel ready to go. With the sun up and starting the baking process I needed to get the ride done so I pushed the pace a bit. Rolled back into the garage with 101.07 miles. Try for another 100 on Thursday.

25.8 miles (41.5k) on the Tarmac. Didn't wear the arm warmers, should have. The air was a little cool for the first hour. Should be the same for the next three days, then it'll heat up again. Still it's a far cry from those 18° days. The left hand/wrist is in a normal elastic brace, 90% less pain (damned old age). I found some heavier duty elastic hand/wrist supports at the 99¢ Only store. Who knew?

Rode up to near the mountains until the pavement ends. More climbing than I've been doing since I moved last year. Just 42 miles, but they were tough ones, not as hot as 2 days ago when it was 104°F There are several snow covered peaks close behind the canyon walls in the picture.

After have not been able to ride for the last month due to all the rain, I went for a ride this evening. I have not been feeling well and was concerned maybe it was my heart. But I don't think a 56 year old with a bad heart could do 24 miles in two hours on a Duel Sport .....it felt good.

14 miles Tuesday evening after wheezing with asthma all day. Felt pretty good during and after the ride. Maybe I should have started when the asthma did. Intended to take it easy but only rode a little slower that usual, just a tenth of a tick under 14 mph.

About 13 hours of actual pedaling. I was away from the house from 11:15 am to 2:08 am the next morning.
About 15 hours. Even being careful, I still get extra hours from bathroom, and, food or drink stops
Oh yeah....almost forgot......answering (only one or two) phone calls in the dark, which needs me to get out my glasses too. Really fun when it's below freezing and I have to take off mittens or gloves that have two cinch straps on each hand. The glasses are in a zipped pocket, along with the phone, which is in a nylon case. At least a couple of minutes to get to the phone, then they hang up. It's all good really, I can't have a bad time on a bike ride.

Going for 150 soon.

Edit ~ I'm not one of the longest distance riders of BikeForums.

Maybe not, but it sure sounds more like touring compared to my rides

You get to 150, let us know. Good luck.

Rode my Haro MTB 50 kilometers this morning, fun casual riding, mix of tarmac (about 30%) and dirt (70%). Did some climbs. Started around 7am Malaysian Time and ended at about 10.45am. Of course stopped to have a breakfast of 2 half boiled eggs and a glass of black coffee. Planning a shorter ride tomorrow, around 30 km and a rest on Saturday. Sunday will be a whole day ride. I am retired, so I have lots of cycling time ...

Had an off day this morning. I had one of those very rare days where I just couldn't get into the ride. Ended up with a short, 25 mile ride. Wife thought I had a crash and was injured when I came home so early.

31 miles on the one rain-free day sandwiched in this week.
30-35 seems to be my limit, longer rides and my back is screaming Stop.

40 miles Wednesday night on the road bike, including a group ride. Neck aching the last few miles home but gradually seems to be getting stronger.

Good luck for having less pain in the future.

Thursday AM and getting ready to begin another early AM, as in 3:15AM, adventure of spinning wheels.

Will check back after 100 miles or a bit more barring any rain.

Back after a 57 mile spin of the wheels and heading back out following a quick shower/kit change. Planning on 50 maybe more.

Biked to bike shop to test ride a 54cm Roubaix and decided as expected that it is the correct size for me even though the 56cm feels good. Total of 121 miles today.

A nice 40 mile ride with my buddy Frank C. Temps stayed mostly in the 80s during the ride and the dew point was moderate. I'm hoping tomorrow will be the same since I plan on doing a century if the afternoon thunderstorms don't come early.

33.0 miles (53.1k). Beautiful ride out to Mayberry Park with a bike buddy, temps in the 80s. Stopped at Idlewild Park for Picnic for Vets. Filled up on hamburgers n' hot dawgs n' Doritos The only bad part of the ride was through the Reno Bike Path, which could double as a battlefield training ground for the army.
