I was vacationing with my wife this last week, riding in AZ. We did the tourist thing on the way back spent a day in SF and rode the hills in and around downtown and across the bridge. Iy was my first time back to SF in 32 years. Next time we'll stay out of the city, and it won't be in 30 years time.

200 miles for the week.

Did a 58 mile ride that was supposed to be an "easy" ride after a hard century the day before. It was a lot hillier than I was remembering (Taylorstown/Stumpville Rd for the locals.) My legs were fried from the very first mile. I should have chosen an easier, shorter route. Holy Moly it was windy though. Still after all the crappy weather I would have felt like a bum if I hadn't gotten out for a ride.

Summer is always hot and humid here, when the RH hits 75% we think its a dry day. Temps are in the high 80's to mid 90's, with a few high 90's-100's thrown in. Its home so I deal with it and work/ride in it daily.

Rode my son's backup bike yesterday, about 20 miles. He and I are the same height and build, but I've had to change the stem since his seat the handlebar drop must be 5". This was his training bike last year when he was racing and the seat is very small and hard as a rock. 20 miles was all I could handle. I should have my bike back tomorrow after a frame replacement thank goodness!

Oh, and not to forget his bike runs 23mm tires. The ride is very harsh compared to the Volagi compliant frame with tubeless tires.

66.6 @ 18.0 ave on the club ride Saturday, and 27.6 @ 18.1 ave on a solo ride Sunday. both, as always, are moving averages. I think this is the first time I have ever averaged 18.0+ for two days in a row.

Took advantage of a gorgeous morning and went riding with the wife at Suncoast Trail and Starkey Park. 21 miles, her longest to date since returning to cycling in September. Must be the new trike she bought last week.

25.33 miles this afternoon, it was a very nice spring day with warm temps and a SSW wind. Weather forecast says that the regular pop-up thunderstorms are starting possibly this weekend, another timing challenge for getting in a daily ride!

Two hour ride today which included hill repeats on a street a couple of towns over. The actual incline part was just .24 mi so I did it 7x, at least til I got a burn in my legs.

Thirty miles with 8 hrs of work in the middle. Does that count as riding?

42.72 miles and it was windy, windy, windy... Had 1300'ish feet of elevation gain and my average was 14.6 mph..

Not bad for me considering the wind..

A hot and humid 35 miles this morning. Looks like we're in for an early summer and hot temps until September.

16+ miles this afternoon, the rest/light day for this week. It felt great to just cruise in the spring sun and warmth.

16.4 miles 1152 feet Turned out to be a beautiful spring day, and a good ride with a view overlooking the city.

Ride in the mts, 22 mi, but no really big hills. Then, an all-out spin class a couple of hours later.

42 miles with some hills, one was a 7% for over a mile. I was tired when I reached the top but wasn't going to let the hill win.

Miles. Oh, you want to know how many? No you don't, not really. Okay, it was about 29.5, to and from work.

Rode the D&R canal trail today. Did 48 mi of the stone dust trail in 4:35 hrs, inc breaks. I used my Fairfax hybrid and made better time than with the Schwinn. There were so many gnats out today as there were yesterday in the mts. Luckily, they don't bite but they'll fly into any and all parts of you.

I rode my normal/original 20 mile loop today... but I stopped at post office on the way... which actually shorten the ride to just over 18 miles. Today was warm and sunny and it felt great.

14 mile tandem ride today. First hot (mid-80's) day of the year but I'm not complaining.

Modified the trike carry stand for the van to work with the wife's new trike yesterday so no ride. I should have done that today as yesterday had calm winds and today they were WTF! Managed a good 44 mile ride, despite the winds, but it sort of wore me out today.

A very short ride today, just home from the bike shop. I tested out the main hill I'll have to run up twice and cycle up once on the Duathlon at the weekend.

4.55km with two nice hills. It says 78m elevation if that makes sense to anyone. Is that me total climb on my spin home?
