Yup. Had a beautiful ride into the office today:

Kinda reminds me of Hotel California. And my ride home last night didn't suck either:

Oh, the agony!

18 miles on the Badger trail which was made really nice by sighting an indigo bunting and a rose breasted grosbeak along with the usual cast of birds.

Yesterday, I did 35 mi, mostly on the canal trail. I also got a couple of saddle sores (I forgot my Glide). Today, no biking at all but did a great spin class tonight. The music was loud with a great beat and the instructor was mostly quiet- a great combination!

23.1 miles and 1352 ft. Rode with a new cycling acquaintance who took me to some roads I've never ridden before. They were great!

Too bad about the weather. It sounds like fun- with 79 pit stops throughout the area (BTWD | Bike To Work Day).

Rode 12 miles in high temps with my new rear tire. Had to replace the Stan's rim tape and mount the new tubeless. Whole process was very simple. I'm fortunate in that my tire/rim combination makes for very easy dismount/mount.

Late start this morning to let the wife sleep in a little longer so I didn't have time to do the 44 miles I originally wanted to do. A good 35 miles with the same strong winds we have been having for the past couple of weeks.

Just the usual commute along the beach.

We've got warm weather and a near full moon, so it's pretty awesome. To expose the moon and retain some of the details, you've got to underexpose the photo by a good 2-3 stops, then push the shadows back out. That has a way of accentuating the pastel colors already prevalent from the pink sky.

Bike to Work Day!
In spite of rain last night and today, was able to ride to work without rain in time for a 7am meeting and then later, to ride home with but a few sprinkles. 21 miles.
Pretty sure I haven't missed a BTWD for at least ten years.

Bikes: Surly LHTD with a YAK trailer. I may have to ditch the trailer and go to panniers but I'll give it a try and see what happens.

Thirty miles on the Surly LHTD tonite after working on my feet for eight hours. This is all flat land riding but I plan to do it again Sunday. At 71 this is either going to keep me alive to 91 or send me to my grave at 72!

33 miles and another BEAUTIFUL ride day. Starting to reduce stop/rest time and get avg speed up. Good start today as I passed two of my normal stops.

70 miles fixed with geared riders through 3000' of rollers but we kept the pace down to 16 mph average so I could keep up.

22 miles before some pedestrian on his cell phone walked in front of causing a crash. Got a large laceration on the right ankle from the chain requiring some stitches. Not one of my best rides.

23 mile ride on the Screamer with my favorite stoker. Mid-50's and a few sprinkles but, hey, who's complaining?
