32 miles @ 23mph with LBS guys plus an additional 64 miles. Bicycled to Venice to pick up wife's and my Rev3 70.3 Volunteer shirt. Will be out there at 0700 with cow bells to cheer on the athletes as they start the 56 mile section of the triathlon.

A nice 46 mile ride with my buddy, Lou. Excellent weather and minimal winds. Can't do much better than that.

14 miles in-town with a friend. Just enough little hills to be a workout for me (doesn't take much ). Grey skies like Bill, but a little warmer, low 60s F. Good hour ride nonetheless for a Saturday afternoon. Tried out the RideWithGPS app since SportsTrackLive has changed. It showed I wandered about 50 feet down the driveway in just over 5 minutes. Apparently I need to re-read the instructions...

18 miles on gravel on the mtb. Brrrrrrr! (40 degrees).

FTP test on my Kurt Kinetic trainer with new inRide pod last night. 250 watts. I'll take it. Not a bad accomplishment for season one off the couch.

70 miles, 6400 ft of climbing, from Buena Vista, south on the BRP to Big Island, back on Rt 130 toward Elon, and return on Rt 60.

Wore my full-on winter gear for the first time, including thick gloves, shoe covers, balaclava etc. and needed them for the first 50 miles. It finally warmed up a bit after that. I hope we have at least a few warmer days before Polar Vortex Season sets in. It's supposed to be cold as hell next weekend...

29+ miles this afternoon, much less wind and a tad warmer, too. Blue bowl skies topped things off.

26 miles on the Screamer with my favorite stoker today. Upper 40's today with some sun but breezy - fortunately the way back from halfway point was with favorable winds.
Our latest tandem ride last year was Nov. 15. Hope we can get out together a few more times this year. Unseasonable cold coming on Tuesday, so I'll plan on riding to work Monday and then see what Mom Nature has in store for us.

Another gorgeous golden NorCal day for a ride. We rode the tandem and paced 2 friends who needed easy rides; one has a cold and the other is racing her first Ironman triathlon next week in Tempe, AZ. We had a lot of fun.

41 miles, 2000'. No way I'm ready for my birthday ride, but it was a beautiful day. By 0900 O was down to summer riding gear.

47 miles, 4.7K of climbing. It was just a local loop, but I must have managed to hit all the hilliest roads. Despite the relatively short rides, I had the old familiar leg cramps when I got back. Still it's good to remind myself that I can ride in 30-degree weather comfortably. If I couldn't it would be a long, dull winter.

It's tough when you go through such a stretch. Try to get some exercise during the week, maybe a 1/2 hour walk each day and look forward to the joy that those weekend rides bring.

25.1 miles this afternoon, great weather, once again. Probably the calm before the storm, though......

Yes, I rode to work and back today for 20 miles but don't see bike commuting in the coming week or so as it is to rain tomorrow and then get cold for a while. Not nearly as bad as what is coming to Minnesota, etc.

62 windy, wonderful miles. 42 of those miles @ 21.7mph average with 3 other riders who enjoyed beating me up. First time I ever had my shins actually hurting.

I don't have internet access at home, so the report is a day behind. One very WILD ride on Monday. On my return home a huge cold front came in and dropped temps and the wind blew 40-50mph gust's! While heading north, I was totally surrounded by thousands of flying leaf's! At times I could only see 5 feet infront of me and while putting on my windbreaker I was having a time holding up the bicycle. Did this for 10 miles, against the wind gust's was down in 1st. gear making about 5 mph. best speed. Finally mellowed a bit when I got to turn east on the rail trail, wished I'd had a Go Pro Camera on my helmet, it would have made a great video!
