20 miler late this afternoon. The greatest weather in the world. 50 degrees with a cold wind. I love it. I also rode Monday in the Nor'easter, did 18 in crazy wind and rain. This is my first riding since 10-1 when my busy season hits. The busy season ended Sunday and no riding equals 14 more pounds and my acid reflux is much worse then when I was biking six days a week. I'm back though and planning on biking six days a week and getting back in shape.

Waited too long yesterday to get to the MUP for one of my regular rides so I did a nice 5 mile neighborhood ride with the wife.

This morning was a little chilly so I waited until the temps came up some. Got to to MUP and the wind was starting to really pick up and it got worse as it got closer to noontime. On top of the wind, they were doing a controlled burn so between the cool wind and the smoke, my sinuses were going full force. Still managed a nice 35 mile ride.

Had to bag things yesterday to get some Parkinson's Disease issues worked out, back out riding this afternoon, though. Made it through the usual 25 mile route with no problems at all, felt better than I have an a few weeks. Kind of chilly out for here, 55ºF the entire time, but a 10 mph wind from the north made it feel cooler. Nothing rough, I enjoyed every minute of the ride.

Did a nice 45 mile ride late this afternoon. It's been very windy over the last few days and today was no exception. Took it easy on the ride since I have a century scheduled in two days and I didn't want to tire out the legs.

25 miles, again, clouds are moving in but no rain is in our forecast until end of next week. Riding was very nice this afternoon, milder temps and the NNW winds were manageable.

Same 20 miler I do most days. Windy about 45 degrees. I love the cool weather. You can have the hot humid summer.

12 miles this afternoon in balmy 46F weather. First ride since last Sunday.
Rode up a steep hill in a nearby neighborhood that I was not aware of until very recently. Thought I knew all the local hills in our area which is generally flat, flat, flat.

27 miles early afternoon today with a friend. Absolutely beautiful weather: 68F, only a bit of southerly headwind, blue skies. Great!

https://ridewithgps.com/trips/3868422

This kind of weather isn't unknown around here, but cold and rainy is typical for this time of year so it's a welcome change.

Except for an easy 27 mile ride a week ago, I hadn't done any riding in almost two weeks. Friday I did a 23 mile hill-climbing ride that included the out-portion with 25 MPH winds.
.
Saturday I did a 62 mile ride and it really beat me up. My legs are sore as hell this morning.

Note to self: Don't go two weeks without riding

44 mi. @ 20.1 mph avg.

This is the start of second season deer hunting, off in the distance I could hear what sounded like a string of fire crackers going off, a couple of minutes later this big buck crosses the MUP on a hard run. I suggested he keep running but I think he already had that figured out.

Hunting season sounds like a good time to be riding on the trainer.

Passed by my cousin in their SUV who posted us to the social network:

Changed up the course somewhat this afternoon, still 25 miles, pushed the entire ride and cut 5 minutes off the best time for this weeks rides at 25 miles. Threw in as many of our rollers to get the extra work.

Probably would have been a good idea, I figured if I heard slugs whizzing through the trees I would take cover, besides the trainer has been so boring I was ready to get out.

37.7 miles on the tandem today. Temps in the upper 30's, bright sun. It was great!

What were these buildings?
