Riding in the RAIN...7/18
A week from tomorrow, my family (twin daughters & bride) and I will be headed northward to Terre Haute to participate in the 2009 Ride Across INdiana, "One day, One Way, 162 miles". My family will be SAG and cheerleading squad for me this year. Our own jppe will be joining me in Terre Haute for his first attempt at this fabled epic. Any other 50+ers planning to participate? Perhaps jppe & I should don the fashionable forum jerseys and ride as TEAM 50+...

Is that picture right? That looks like a huge group ride. Does everyone make it?
So, what is the elevation profile anyway

Wow. That really is flat. I do more than that on my daily commute
Enjoy the ride! Sounds like a good time.

I'm in only in that it goes past my neighborhood on the Southside of Indy - Banta Road from Bluff Road to Meridian Street. The pavement on that stretch is smooth this year, by the way. The next section, from Meridian Street to US 31, has been patched recently, so there are no open chuckholes, but lots of mildly rough patches.
Actually, I plan to be riding in Bartholomew and Brown counties that morning.
Have a good RAIN!
