I went for a two-hour ride today and I went 24.2 miles in that time. Not too bad. I'm enjoying the little computer thing that keeps track of my time on the bike, the distance traveled, mph, etc. It was a lot of fun and a beautiful day. I had two CO2 cartridges with me, the flat lever tool, a spare tube, patch kit and little air pump, so I had all options with me. I am now able to inflate my tires before I go with no problem, so that is no longer an issue. I also have a small multi-tool that is quite cool. I put my little air pump on the frame and next to that my cage for the water bottle.
I am also having no trouble putting the bike rack on my car, which is good. At first I was worried it would fall off the car with the bike on it and cause an accident.

I am crazy about this bike. It fits me nicely and I'm able to go quite fast if I want. If only my legs weren't so sore, but this is my first time going for two hours. I look forward to not being sore after a long ride. This is only my third time on a long ride. I can see this becoming addictive. My vacation trip to Boulder changed my life. I rediscovered the joys of biking.

Great thread with a happy ending, good questions, and lots of really good advice! And I'm certain you made an excellent choice. But Suzie, I have to ask: why no picture of your new Dolce? Please advise...
