I think I over did it yesterday.

HI,
I was feeling really good and the wind was in my back noticed a lurking rider catchin up to me for about 4 miles. SO I pulled out the stops and really mashed hard, I even pulled on the brake hoods for leverage.
Managed to hit 26+ for a mile or two whooosh left him in the dust, but today I get up to a sore back just below the shoulder blades. I may have pulled a muscle group in the upper back
and when I rode today I didn't feel like pushing it much, bonked a little early on my ride kept to a slow 18 mph
Live and learn. So even if you feel froggy, remember your age.. hehe
Doug
DId i mention i manged to max out my heart rate a bit yesterday.....

Some days I wonder if I over did it when I crawled out of bed!

getting out of the bed is the worst part of my day. I've strained that muscle group. it's annoying and may last for some time. I use a long handled back massager and warm baths with lot's of epsom salt for muscle woes.
