Article: Watch out, Cyclists, the priapism could get you

Naturally, someone put a plug for recumbents in the comments.

"People who spend most of their natural lives riding iron bicycles over the rocky roadsteads of this parish get their personalities mixed up with the personalities of their bicycle as a result of the interchanging of the atoms of each of them and you would be surprised at the number of people in these parts who are nearly half people and half bicycles." - Flann O'Brien, The Third Policeman

Blame the saddle for inability to achieve proper riding position...nice.
I suppose the cure is just as intelligent and advanced...leeches perhaps?
"Let us hope our weapons are never needed --but do not forget what the common people knew when they demanded the Bill of Rights: An armed citizenry is the first defense, the best defense, and the final defense against tyranny. If guns are outlawed, only the government will have guns. Only the police, the secret police, the military, the hired servants of our rulers. Only the government -- and a few outlaws. I intend to be among the outlaws" - Edward Abbey

Plus, is that link actually saying a relieved saddle causes this problem? It's not clear FWIW.

It's also hard to trust learned opinions by PhDs with Internet names rather than real names, like real scientists use. Leads one to recall the old saw; PhD stands for "piled higher and deeper," at least in this case.

Not a real credible presentation of a problem, as far as I can see.
