Annual ride - finalizing attendance

RE: ANNUAL RIDE, AUGUST 31 GLENWOOD SPRINGS, CO
https://www.bikeforums.net/fifty-plus-50/488051-bfn-50-first-annual-ride-monday-august-31-a.html

IT IS NOT TOO LATE TO JOIN IN THIS GREAT RIDE.

Please review the attached chart. I know a number of you can not attend. Beverly will be getting a form and some further info together, and it will be posted. By now, you should know for almost sure if you will be coming (at least I hope so).

I know that the following folks have had to cancel:

tsl
Colorado Dale
Bud Bent and wife
CGallagh and Red Rider
Stapfam

Others have sort of disappeared along the way.

Please do the following:

1. Indicate on this thread if you are or are not coming.

2. If you are coming, Please send an email address that you read and that we can use for further contact and to create an all-inclusive email list to

DnvrFox@aol.com

with the subject:

Annual Ride EMail Address

and include your REAL name(s)

I have sort of figured all along that if we could actually get 15 or 20 folks together that would be a great success, especially for the very first annual ride.

Also, others are welcome. It is not too late. Just indicate that you are coming on this thread, and send an email to me.

Beverly is putting together a form for "registering" and the insurance liability bit. But, we need to know who is coming.

Thanks.

I got it and Will's and others. Give me a couple of days, and I will summarize who we have coming.

I have, regrettably, received a number of regrets - seems the financial collapse, job losses, family health issues and the like have caught up with folks.

Still, it will be great to have whomever can make it.

I'll try that one next. I had the Pinot Noir. They sell it at a local store so maybe I'll get there today for some more.

Denver,
Sent my email confirmation a day or two ago. I will attend with a guest rider, but cannot ride Monday. I do hope someone will ride Saturday or Sunday unofficially with us, but if not... that's okay too. Looking forward to schmoozing it up with whoever shows up, at any rate.

I just replied in the affirmative.

Now that we've made the final decision, the next big one is: "which bike?".

billydonn: Depending on when we arrive (Friday or Saturday), we'll probably ride Saturday and Sunday.

Is that everyone?

I have no response from HiYoSilver, although I am pretty sure he is coming, as he is the one who set up the Caravan Motel. I did email and pm him?? No response yet.

Cool... I was planning on bringing a road bike since the trail is apparantly paved and there are frequent services.
