I think this is what is called sneaking out for a ride??
 

I was out in the middle of rural NC today doing a ride in the summer warmth and humidity common to this area for this time of year. This was the land of pastures, cows and horses, tractors for vehicles, the smell of turkey houses, etc.

Up in front of me I see a car on the side of the road just before a creek in a nice shady spot. I see someone standing out beside the car. I begin to slow to see if they need help. As I get closer it's not just one person but two....a youngish female and a of all things another cyclist probably in his late 20's. They were so close together it might as well have been one.......His bike was parked off the road leaning up against a power pole and he was dressed in a race team kit.

It didn't look like he had crashed and needed CPR but he was getting it anyway. I hate to speculate but maybe she was practicing for a nursing exam??

I think they were surprised to see someone else, let alone a cyclist. Something tells me one or both had someone else waiting on them somewhere else!!

Can't you just hear it now when he got back...........so how was your ride???

Maybe she was his significant other.:innocent:

Happened to me just last week. There I was riding down the road, minding my own business, enjoying the day, when this pretty, young woman pulls up in a car and asks to check me for a hernia... ;)

All I know is that after a few miles of riding on a hot day no female would want to get close to me and I'd be lucky to be able to find the equipment if she did. Bike shrinkage is worse then cold weather shrinkage:lol:

They are a married couple celebrating the natural consequences of riding together. Put the woman you love on a bike and she becomes irresistible.

That does not explain the car or the OP only seeing one bike, but those such details should not get in the way of a good story.

I would ask 'Where's the video?' but they need their privacy.

sounds like someone was having a dream. who, we do not know.
