May have to quit cycling

People are right, this doesn't belong here. Deleting what I said & going for a bike ride.

Edit: deleted my reply. Doesn't make sense now (but I hope the *intended* humor was not offensive to anyone).

EDIT: deleted my reply. big john is right, this isn't bike related. It doesn't seem to take much to get us 50+'ers sidetracked to a health care discussion.

So a potentially interesting discussion has turned into a troll, and worse, one that's content-free? Maybe the whole thread should just be pulled now.

I think you're right. Or not.

It's a beautiful sunny day, I'm going riding and hoping my karma doesn't catch up with me.

Weak, remember the goal is to stop the wheel of karma so you neither receive nor generate karmic events.

Ken, whatever issues are bothing you, I hope you resolve them successfully and are able and willing to continue riding. If all else fails, SCREAM!!!

What did I miss? What was edited out?

That's what happens when I hang out too long in the Cyclocross forum.

The OP managed to tie cycling to the topic well enough; it was me who wandered off. Funny, a few months ago we discussed health care at length in a thread here, and it was ok. Now that we have Congress debating and disruptive town hall meetings going on, it's not ok. Timing, I guess...

Wait a minute. Isn't karma illegal in Kentucky?

I heard that former President Bush is teaming up with Lance Armstrong and his trainer Chris Carmichael and is planning on entering the Leadville 100 mile MTB race in preparation for winning the Mountain Bike National Championships.

Bad karma is frowned upon.
