After roaming the country my frame came home Monday

And I built her up last night - 20 lbs of red fury. The commute today was nice.

So what's it like riding a frame with 10,000 miles on it?

Glad it arrived safely- and the bill for the extra carriage will follow.

I've wondered about that frame.

How's it ride and handle?

It's ride was good, kind of like steel. The compact gearing made it spry - it accelerated well under my meager power. The Campy dual pivot breaks work well and the shifting is passable.

A note on shipping - I ordered the deal of the day from Performance Bicycle yesterday. Its a large size Performance Aluminum MTB frame. I got it for $60 shipped. It arrived today! A coworker is giving me a donor Huffy MTB for parts. I still may need a threaded fork and headset. My son is heading to college in three weeks and I'm concerned his Klein MTB would have a very short half life on campus.
