N + .5 Again: The Madness Continues
This eBay acquisition arrived yesterday from Colorado. I just could not help myself. She's 6.7 pounds of 853 steel and we've got big pwans... vewy big pwans! Can she be ready for a return to her home state and the 50+ Annual Ride? Updates will be forthcoming.

Thank you... I'm pretty excited about building another kind of bike this time. She will be nine speed and I'm using Shimano 50-39-30 tripple. Cantilever brakes are new to me and am enjoying learning about them... Avid Shorty6 are now in mockup stage.

Brakes, seat and post, BB and cranks (50-39-30), deraillers, bar/brifter and stem transplant.... check, check, check, check. Chain transplant... check. Now to the cables to make this thing work. Getting rid of the interrupter brakes complicated things a bit.
And a picture of the donor vehicle.... she gave up her parts so that another might live.

After trip to LBS for small parts: Got the shift and brake cables strung... bar wrapping now in progress. I really like using the Specialized Super Phat Bar Gels and tape.
