Reminder time

There is a tradition that we have on the Forum and it involves a ride and PIE.

https://50pluscyclist.googlepages.com/traditions

By my reckoning Thats puts it to Saturday the 19th September so for those of you that need it- you had better get in training. Suggested ideas are on the attachment. And my one from the first ride in 2006. And Blueberry is the traditional PIE but if like me you cannot get that- Autumn Fruits will do.

Oooooh, We'll see.

Sept 19th puts it exactly 6 weeks after my accident. If pie ride day was tomorrow, I'd definitely have to be a no go.

And this should be the OFFICIAL celebration of the 50+ Forum's FIFTH anniversary.

Does that mean TWO pieces of pie?

And the day after my 56th birthday. Sounds like three pieces of pie for me. Maybe I'll skip the ride and just eat.

We'll be in deep East Texas at a tandem rally. I'm sure we can find some pie.

The ride and the Pie will be easy enough- but Most of us do manage to post pics of the pie on the ride. I normally try to get the bike in aswell- but How about some Scenery to go with it? No Prizes- but lets try to get the bike- the Pie and scenery in this year. Should make for some interesting pics.

Had to modify the rules here locally to include 30 min after the ride. All too often still in the 90s here in September and many of the routes we take are so far out avoiding traffic, that they also avoids stores where we could find any pie. That and not all of those riding will be over 50. Hope to have some pics up soon afterwards

Had to do with price fixing as I recall. The pie rates of Penn's Aunts?
( With appologies to Gibert and Sullivan)
