Thank You For the Great 50+ 1st Annual Ride

The ride was glorious but I really, really, really enjoyed the company of everyone. I started wondering if all cyclists are as handsome, pretty and fun as this group. It was a pleasure meeting all of you, riding, laughing, eating, etc. I miss all of you.

Not all Cyclists are that genial. Some of us are really Grumpy and annoyed that we could not make it this year.

Thanks Nora. You have made me realise that I should have made this trip and hopefully there will another opportunity to meet up in future years.

Maybe as handsome and pretty, but not as fun.

My feelings are mutual, Nora! You and Denver were a delight to meet, ride, and dine with. We're already talking about the next one.

+1

We need to start thinking about the next one so everyone can make plans

Just to add a bit of interest,

The news just had a report of a number of mountain lions near Glenwood Springs - in addition to one of us seeing a bear, and all the bear spoor we saw on the trail!

I know I'm generally handsome. And I'm pretty when I'm in a bike jersey and almost-matching socks. You might find out if I'm fun or not on the next 50+ ride.

And snakes! I almost ran over 3 on our sprint back to GWS from Woody Creek. Small ones that I thought were small twigs or branches on the path, and as I swerved to miss them they moved.
