Almost got nailed twice at the same intersection

On my way home during my last ride I had to cross I 75 in order to get home.

As I was working my way up the interstate overpass just before I started to
pass the on ramp (on my right) , a pickup behind me started honking and pulled around me
to get to the on ramp it was towing a long animal transport trailer. I started slowing down
in order to not get clipped by the trailer as it entered the on ramp.

No sooner than the trailer cleared me I heard another honking and a car zipped right
behind me to get onto the on ramp.

It all happened so quickly that I did not have time to be scared...

I guess I used a couple of spare lives...

Damnit, man! Don't you know those few seconds you might have caused them to waste would keep them from getting into the slow-moving rush-hour traffic?

Glad to hear you're safe. Hoist one and thank the cycling gods.

A lot of motorists have difficulty at freeway on- or off-ramps. Can get dicey riding past those areas.

I hope you gave them both a big "one finger wave". What a couple of a-holes.

It is rare that I ride in "on-ramp--off-ramp" areas but when I do I make sure there is no traffic when I am going across...I owe it to my body
