I'd put in more detail, but CT isn't all that big. Our weather forcasts are for all of the state...............and their just as wrong as yours.

You put information about your rides and the weather with no indication of where you are. This makes the information worthless.
There is no need to be specific.
How about putting the part of the state that you live in as part of your profile that will show up in your posts?

This is a problem that has been raised before and I have had my location on my Avatar for years.
I live in the South East of England and that is a long way from anywhere. 2 hours to London- providing you don't catch any traffic jams-And a lot longer than that to anywhere else that Americans have heard of. It is quicker for me to go to France than to get to North of London via the Parking lot called the M25 (A notorious motorway round London that always has a traffic snarl up on it somewhere.)
So for me to tell you where I live- doesn't help you much. But you are all welcome to visit anytime.

I think those who don't have a location shown are either worried we will all come by for a big blowout ---
or maybe the law is after them and they're genuinely afraid to post something meaningful.

The map represents northwest Arkansas. I have a residence in central LA (Louisiana) as well. I have relatives in and have been known to frequent LA (Lower Arkansas).
So, where in thunder is Silverthorne, CO?
