I'm adjusting just fine, thank you... now that the vbulletin little ad/logo in the lower right hand corner is gone.

I'm always amazed at the amount of hype that gets generated with new/improved products. You'd think we couldn't have had very fulfilling lives before hand if you believe it all.

Looks like a lot of blowing one's own horn - I don't like it!

The good news is, that I don't spend near as much time on this site......

The old one was much more user friendly, quicker, and easier to look at.

Looks like they forgot about their customers, which is usually a bad thing.....

I think the BF members are overwhelmingly against the new thing, regardless of age. There are still a lot of issues to be resolved, (tiny font, no search, smaller pics and avatars, less threads per page, etc.) and overall, I don't see an improvement. It has created more problems than it has solved.

Hi John, I guess you're just more sensitive than I am . . .

I haven't noticed much real difference in terms of use. I do have a question though. Does IE in the posts above refer to Internet Explorer . . . or something else?

The transition has been a very minor inconvenience to me. I pretty much don't even notice that it has changed at this point. Maybe a function or two that I haven't quite mastered yet or that has yet to be worked out by the admins, but no real problems.

Change happens. We adjust. No biggie.

I didn't see IE up there anywhere. Have you tried the search function? Do you see the difference in the size of the pics? And the tiny font in the reply box is annoying.
I know, some will say this is whining. Minor problems in the grand scheme of things, true, but I think it was better before.

I do too. But, maybe they needed to upgrade due to the formerly large number of users.

I am working with it OK, but I haven't done any searches - which I understand is currently not possible.

I can't imagine unleashing the product on the largest bike forum in the world without thorough vetting, but, then, the thought occurs to me - maybe WE are the vetters??

Change is good. It takes some adjustment and sometimes there are a lot of things to be fixed from the last program.

After so many years, we sometimes accept things that are not good for us and fight the changes for the better only because it's different.

Change is not always good. The new screens look different, but that only makes them different. I hope after I post this I don't have to go back in and edit my typing, because I'm typing it blind due to the font being invisibly small.

Slight correction: "Search thread" doesn't work. "Search this forum" works just like always. Only problem is just like before, minimum characters allowed in a search is too high.

I guess I'm missing it, but I can't find the word "Search" anywhere.

O.K., now I found a search box. I'll give it a try. It wasn't there before, I swear.

I see it clearly on Firefox. I just tried with IE-8 and the forum button is there, but the search box is hidden under the threads list. The advanced search button shows and it works, though less conveniently.

I am using IE7 and IE8 and the AOL browser on four different computers and pretty much everything shows and works, except mostly the subscribed thread that are supposed to show on settings doesn't show until I either maximize the screen, or make it one step smaller. Depends on where I start, I have to go through that step a lot of the time.

Some folks are still having a terrible time, no matter what the browser.

I tend to vacillate on whether I resist or embrace change.

In this case, I look forward to future improvements. I have no doubt that I want change now!

Well I checked my system and it shows I'm using IE-8 but I still can't "start a topic", replying is no problem and I REALLY like that photo's can be loaded from your "comptuer" and not just a URL! At least for some reason I couldn't do that before the upgrade.
