Rode half my age just now!
 

Well, I rode 1.25 of my age over two mornings rides, today and yesterday (Fri/Sat weekends here).

Was tempted into a longer ride yesterday which ended up about 40 miles, and a friend wanted to do her 26th birthday ritual this morning.

So, not bad for a chap who has to hobble onto a bike on crutches, eh!

(Apologies to those of you who are still dealing with cold, wet and windy, but I'd love to ride with you here just now. Perfect weather, about 33 C, low humidity, just a bit of a sea breeze to keep things feeling fresh)

These are the days I was hoping for when I was a bit gloomy with the broken leg.

If you are feeling that chipper about riding half your age- just think what will happen when you can manage the full distance???

Keep riding and treat the hobbling to the bike as cross training.
