Tour Easy Down!!
As I reported in the "Did you ride today" thread, I got in a 10 mile Ice Cream Run after Dinner. I also mentioned in that report that my bike went down.
On the way home I stopped to help a gentleman and his little girl. She had been riding along on her bike as he walked the family pet Huskie. She had fallen and jammed her chain between the big ring and the chain retention ring. It took me holding her bike up in the air and him stomping on the chain to free it.
Down side, during the short time we worked on her bike, the Huskie knocked over my Tour Easy! I almost had a heart attack! Darn extending/retractable leashes. Fortunately it appears the only damage is a scraped up backside edge on my MirrorCycle mirror. It's black plastic and I think I can resolve it with a piece of emory cloth. One of my Planet Bike Superflash tail lights popped off but no broken bits and I snapped it right back on. My water bottle rolled across the road. No bike damage!!! It's the first time the bike has gone down since I purchased it.
I guess the important thing is...we both rode away,no one was hurt, and everyone was happy. There wasn't anough damage to kill my Ice Cream High!!!!

Just think how much anxiety you would have felt if it had a carbon fiber frame.
