Birthday Ride

Did my Birthday ride today. 65 years old, 65 miles. It was very windy, 20 to 30 with 40 mph gusts. Went on the San Gabriel River bed North towards the Santa Fe Dam. Turned around and went to Seal Beach Pier then back home. Avg of 15.7 mph with short rests. A lot of people out today which is good to see. I have a year to train for my next one. Ride safe.

Congrats. I've been on that route. It's a good one on which to do a birthday ride. I will be in that area in June and may find myself right there. However, I must point out (before someone else does): No pictures? Didn't happen.

I have pictures as i bought a digital camera last month, just have to learn how to post. Took some on the trail, by the mountains and Seal beach.
