Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

Well, you are up in Alberta.

I saw snowfall up at Burns lake in June up there, camping one summer.

It's gonna be 95 in CenTx today. Snow is not a problem.

It has not snowed here in almost a week. Hope that snow is not on its way to Summit County.

Personally I would call Al Gore. He can jet up there from his new 9 million dollar mansion and fix the problem.

You should be used to that where you are.
In 1982, I was stranded for two days in a snowstorm on the last weekend in May, Swift Current Sask.

49? I hope the #49 you refer to is Hawaii.

Or the 49th parallel.

Only a few miles south of Lat 49, we are wondering if Spring/Summer is coming to the PNW this year. Only 3 days in May did the temp reach 70.

Hot, dusty, smoggy - any of these are (thankfully) VERY RARE in the Puget Sound area.
Humidity - we've got plenty of humidity.

In CA only coastal will do. Send me back to the Monterey Bay/Santa Cruz.

Brings back memories of Andy Hampsten in the 1988 Giro d'Italia. In Andy'sa own words:

"We were about 400-500 meters above sea level, in this big valley in Lombardy… and it was snowing. Most of us on the 7-Eleven team were from Colorado, and were pretty good at math, and if it’s snowing and you go up… and it’s SNOWING… it’s slushy, it’s coming down and then melting, it’s belting in… There’s no hint of anything changing, looking at the weather forecast. So the Giro organizers held an emergency meeting with all the team managers, telling them “hey, we’re doing the race, the roads open, snowplows are keeping it clear. It’s not icy on the Gavia, but it is snowing.”When we left it was just raining… kind of sleet-rain, but bucketing down. We went over the Aprica pass, a category 2 with a pretty short descent, but even on that descent I was wearing ALL the warm clothes I could possibly put on. I was shaking uncontrollably on that silly little descent. "

It was earlier in May, but I left the mild Puget Sound area for a family visit and ended up riding into belting snowsqualls in Arizona (Flagstaff). Was surprised how much the altitude and lower humidity mutes the cold compared to same conditions at sea level.
