Hi all, I’ve made up a short biking vid I hope you all will enjoy. Its part of a forty mile ride I rode last month and recoded to watch on the trainer this winter. This vid is heavily produced compared to the trainer version. The beginning will introduce the location.

Nicely done. Should help to dispel the thoughts that NY is nothing but a big city surrounded by burned out old mill towns.

And so why have you never called me for a ride?
That section through Durand-Eastman is a favorite of mine. I strongly prefer the east to west direction you showed. I live near the other end of Culver Rd, so it makes a nice loop to either St Paul or the Riverway for the return.
Just last weekend I led the bike club's Ten Parks Tour ride through there, after a lunch stop at Vic & Irv's.
Hmmm, thinking about that loop, a vid of the Riverway along the boardwalk bridge through Turning Point might be nice. EDIT: You have a good start with this one, but it ends just as the good part begins.
BTW, which cam did you use, and what sort of mounting system?

Very Nice vid and what a nice trail.
For use on a trainer, wouldn't it be cool if you could have an inclinometer record the grade and input that resistance (or lack of it) into the trainer as you played it back.

I don't have your number hahahha
I'm using a Canon PowerShot SD960 with this simply mount.

The trick to getting the smoothness is a program called the deshaker tested here with the river bridge.

I though all those burned-out old mill towns were always covered in snow, ice, and other winter pestilence.
That looked like a pretty nice ride, Gyro, with some pretty scenery.
Nice job on the video + music.
Ride on!

It makes me yearn for long bike trails with pretty scenery. Most of my miles are logged on city streets where you can't let down your guard.

Nice vid, nice trail, the thing was a gawd damn freeway. Sure would be nice to see some videos of urban cycling infrastructure that connect communities than dead end out in the boonies.

So PM me, smart-@$$.
I made the same camera mount last year.
So all you're using is a basic digicam and VirtualDub with the Deshaker plug-in?

Nice looking route. I'd love to see it in winter. With some of the pictures TSL has posted, I'd guess you'd need some serious adjustment to your white balance.
