she road her age today

My wife's birthday today and out of the blue she says she wants to ride her age. Now we do some tandem riding and she rides solo up to 25 miles , but today she turned 59. Divided the ride with a nice lunch and finished up with 64+ miles. She was a little cranky towards the end , but that is understandable. Now if I could only get her on a "real" roadbike.

Forget the solo- You do not realise how much of a Turbo effect the stoker can put in when asked.

Not surprised the stoker was cranky. A Birthday ride is her age- By riding an extra 5 miles you put years on her.

Guess i wasn't clear , she was on her single, which I think is tougher than the tandem. Did about 10 miles on a trail the rest on rolling country roads with some good climbs. She felt fine today .
