Happy birthday to me!
Yesterday I turned 50. I don't feel any older, and actually feel great for my age:)
I can officially post here, though I've been reading here for a while. I woke up to an awesome gift from my wife ... a Lynskey R230, with an Easton EA90SL fork. http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/f...x/DSCF0001.jpg I can't wait to start building this bike up ... hoping for a maiden voyage next spring. |
Congrats and Welcome!

Happy birthday and welcome aboard. I wish my wife had the intuition to buy me a MTB on my birthday.

Thanks for the replies ... now moving forward to the next half century mark. 40+ years of cycling has carried me this far.

I am a Clydesdale as well, at 235lbs. I ride handbuilt Mavic Open Pro wheels currently, and thinking of going the same route for the Lynskey. They're not a light-weight racing wheel, but I'm going for comfort on this new build, not speed.

Happy BD a couple of days ago!
