Fixed link.

Still a good accomplishment, but "Riders accumulate points using a system that gives handicap points for female and older riders"

If she continually comes out on top, they will adjust the system, I'm sure.

I think all of us would like to be on top of 2 wheels at her age. Two wheels with out two tennis balls.

Our group rode with another group in the area this weekend. We were on their turf and went by their rules, so we went out in three groups based on speed. The slower group was led by an 85 year old man on a road bike. While I suppose he isn't a racer, it is good to see that he still rides routinely and that there may be hope for me, yet. I went out with the medium speed group. The hot rod group was full of 20, 30, and 40-somethings. I rode back in with the hot rods.

While it doesn't appear that she comes across that way, I'm thinking that deep down Mrs Painter has a fire burning inside where she's going to lay it all out on the last event and whip some young butt. Good luck to her.
