Watching DWTS - where's the shotgun?

Gotta find the shotgun - if I only had one.

This is bicycling related because I bicycled into a 25 mph gusty and rather cold wind today, and watching TV is my "recovery ride."

It's all political, both the supporters AND the detractors who are keeping a certain contestant there as joke. A really bad joke.

After watching the first half of the Redskin/eagles game, if I didn't appeal to Black Betty then I guess I never will.

you did hear about the guy who did shoot his TV last week. hilarious. would have been so satisfying but then I'd have to replace TV's too often when she who will not be named appears on the screen....

Remember when bars used to have a contest during Monday Night Football? The winner got to throw a brick through the TV when Howard Cosell was on the screen. Ah, Howard.

I watched part of Skating with the Stars which premiered immediately following DWTS. They attempted to copy DWTS format. Dick Button is the head judge and they have two others: a dance choreographer and a younger Olympian / World champion figure skater. The judges performances were awful. I cannot see how skating with work. The stars struggle with the moves on the ice and there is the opportunity for crashing and injury. For this show to succeed will take a miracle.

And Dick Buttons is pretty much a "skating snob" - if you will. Scott Hamilton would be a much better commentator.

It is true that Will Rogers never met Howard Cosell.

I can't believe you folks watch all the crap on regular TV networks. The only network show I watch is "Lie to Me". Everything else is on cable or PBS. <edit> Old age must be setting in. I forgot to mention the Netflix DVDs and live streaming. </edit>
You've gotta be a little more selective.

I have fond memories of February's huge DC storms, "Snowmageddon" and "Snowcapalypse." The best part was when the deep snow broke the cable network and we were without TV for over a week. I wish that happened more often.

Bicycle related -- our road was plowed late, so for days at a time, my bike was the only transportation. Also good.

Here are a couple of snoozers on PBS this evening - enjoy.

Nova
A search in Jordan for the legendary mines of King Solomon.
Quest
The Bay Area during the last Ice Age.

BTW...all the programming I receive is via cable.

I watched Sarah Palin's Alaska which is available via cable. Bristol was just as exciting on that show as DWTS. It took Bristol about 10 attempts with her mother's shotgun to hit a clay pigeon. Whereas, Sarah never missed.

It didn't melt when they treated my house for bed bugs, if that's what you mean.

As far as the firearms are concerned, I'd be the last person in the world to pass judgment on Bristol. When I was in the Army they tried to teach us how to fire a M1911 (a big mean 45 cal pistol). The safest place near the firing line would have been standing in front of the target, and it was only like 25 meters away. I would have had better luck throwing the weapon at Ivan back then than trying to shoot him.

I would never try to shoot a Russian now, especially Anna Trebunskaya.

It is too bad you missed DWTS. They put Bristol in a cage.

I was referring to your not watching DWTS, therefore, you had no reason to shoot the TV with your shotgun, In other words, you chickened out.
