Is Your Top Tube Level Part 2

Sorry for the hijack of the title, but.... Every time I see the original thread's title, I have a bunch of other thoughts/sayings that pop into my head:

Is your hat on straight?
Are you playing with a full deck?
Are you flying right?
Do you have all of your marbles?

So, is "Is your top tube level?", the cycling equivalent?

Are you on the straight and level?

Are you on the up and up?

You ever seen a grown man naked? (whoops, sorry airplane movie flashback)

Might have worked 20 years ago, when virtually all road bikes came with a level top tube, but these days I'm noticing more and more road bikes with the top tube slanted slightly down toward the rear of the bicycle.

Are you playing with a full deck?
Does your elevator go all the way to the top floor?
Does the cuff match the collar? (uh, maybe that one doesn't belong here. )

A french fry short of a Happy Meal.

I think a larger problem is when your level top tube starts to slope, not whether it sloped from the beginning.

That can become a problem for women.

I think a female related biking problem relates to a bike's ability to stay lubricated.

Great Post, and Great Point!

Speaking only for myself, at 70 years old, I am not dealing with a full deck. That is the truth. In fact, I haven't been dealing with a full deck for my whole life..
And never wanted one either!!

I just became aware of that in my later years. So, I say to myself, how come I can have so much fun, with almost nuthing?? Also, how do I keep the young juices flowing through my body and mind?

Aha, I came up with part of the answer if not all.

Having all the marbles and a full deck[Stuff shirt/Crosses all the i and tees) IMO, one tends NOT TO HAVE FUN, OR CAN'T HAVE FUN..

People use to asked me when I was about 40 what am I going to do when I get to 60 years old. I told them, I be happy as whatever just to make it to 60. . Sheesh, now I have made it to 70, they still be asking me that stuff. I ain't thinking about down the line.

Everyday, every second, IMO, is super precious and I treat it as such..

I noticed that at 70 years old, I am just as SILLY as I can be. Not a stuff shirt by a long shot. Hence, IMO, I can have super big fun in just about anything even acting silly.. Not worrying about narry an thing, except where am I going to have fun today...

One more time, no full deck here, don't want one either. (BIG BOYISH GRIN)..

As the OP in the other level top tube thread, my thanks and appreciation for your starting this thread ... I anticipated there would be any number of posts such as "my top tube is level when my wife is frisky" type posts. However, these are far more fun and interesting!
