Hi Steven. Where are you riding? What events are you doing? What's your favorite pie? Oh, forget the first two questions, just stick to the important stuff. There's always room for another cyclist, both here and on the road.

Welcome to the camp Steven. Just file your AARP card in our rolodex, and pull up a bike saddle.

We're still waiting to hear what your favorite pie is.

For instance, I'm partial to a nice warm apple pie, with or without some sharp cheddar cheese, and topped with some vanilla ice cream.

I can go for blueberry, chess pie (or pecan), sweet potato pie, and if I'm felling peckish I'll pop a Marie Callender's Razzleberry Pie in the oven.

So I've primed your pie pump.

Glad to have you on board Steve, tell us more about your bike or bikes. A picture of it in front of a white garage door is a must as well. Enjoy the forum!

Well thank you. I was worried that the pie combo might be too advanced for some, but I decided to test this forum's pie limits. I'm impressed

Welcome Steven. It's mostly and even-tempered, rational group of folks here with the odd ripple now and again.

Not quite what I meant, but thanks for the song. It's one of my favorite Robert Hunter tunes.

OK, let me rephrase it. It's mostly a good lot here, but every now and again we get someone who seems to rub everyone the wrong way, or at least seems somewhat out of tune with the general demeanor of this particular section of Bike Forums as compared to other sections. For the most part folks don't come to this section of Bike Forums to flame others, beat on their own chests, or otherwise create deliberate turmoil. Rather, folks tend to be helpful and thoughtful in their responses. But, Garilia, I'm starting to have second thoughts about you.

Hi Steve, Riding a 21 speed comfort bike here about 20-30 miles a week regularly since Sept 2010 except during bad weather and on the exercise bike then. With a good diet and the exercise have lost 15 lbs since Christmas. Now at 186 and going to loose maybe 10 or 11 pounds more. When lean and mean maybe treat myself to a road bike :-) . Also doing resistance exercises. Feel great! Chuck in Tennessee age 50.
