1k for the year, plus a river otter
Big day today. With a 55-miler out through the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, I passed 1000 miles for the year, the earliest I've ever hit that mark. And while I'm quite used to seeing alligators, deer, and feral pigs out there, today a river otter crossed the road in front of me. I've never seen one of those before. It jumped into the water while I slowed to get a picture, so no pics. A beautiful day for a ride in sunny FLA.

I went for night ride a few weeks ago and almost hit a river otter that passed in front of me. I had to hit the brakes hard. Must have missed its tail by inches.
