Rei anniversary

WOW! REI is having their anniversary sale and has GREAT prices on bicycle shorts, bibs, shirts, etc. Give it a look. Plus if you are a member you get 20% of one non-sale item. I managed to spend $375 there today. OUch!

Yeah I try telling my wife "But I saved..." it doesn't work.

I am planning to pick up a few items.
Add in the REI members get free shipping, it can be a good sale!

With my 20% discount I got a nice PI convertible jacket/vest in screaming yellow. I should be very visible on my morning commutes.

Read my post . . . LOL . . . I said I managed to spend $375 there today. I didn't say I saved anything. LOL
But actually I did . . . I needed bike shorts for the MS150 (the ones I have now are ridden out) and have been looking for weeks. They finally had my sizes!!! And 3 of the 4 pairs I bought were 20% off. Now of course, the MS150 is only two days, but four pairs of shorts seemed necessary for some reason.

Yes I was there today. I was looking for an Camelbak 3 liter 100 oz Unbottle. They did have what I wanted however even with the 20% off I got a much better price at Campmor even with the shipping included.. I agree they do have some nice deals. Remember if you buy something at 50% off and buy two you save 100%.

I haven't bought from them since they became active in land closure. Can't be politically-active in something that blocks your customers(and others) from accessing public lands. Will never buy from them again.

In addition to the other discounts available throughout the store, All bikes are 15% off during the anniversary sale that ends on the 30th.

Fair warning: You won't find all the bike brands REI sells at every REI location. Based on dealer agreements in various markets, you may not be able to order that (fill in the blank) Cannondale, Raleigh, Scott, etc. bike you've had your eye on.

Got a Dahon Speed D7 there yesterday. With the 15% discount the price before tax was $424 instead of the usual $499.

Here it is on the first real test ride after I did my usual tweaks and got it set up the way I wanted:
