Old and New
Hi all, been off the bike for 12+ years and after hip replacement I was able to start riding again. I've been feeling like I was getting my legs back and really enjoying riding again so I decided to treat myself to a new bike some 4lbs lighter than my old one.
My old Waterford Paramount 21.4lbs http://www.pbase.com/brucelandry/image/134610060.jpg My new Wilier Izorad 17lbs http://www.pbase.com/brucelandry/image/135592575.jpg http://www.pbase.com/brucelandry/image/135592580.jpg http://www.pbase.com/brucelandry/image/135592593.jpg What a fun bike to ride and I'm actually 15 seconds faster per loop on a 4 mile loop that I do after work 5 times (so I don't have to go out and fight traffic, seems we have a lot of people around here that only care about getting home as fast as they can). |
Congrats on the new bike & welcome back to biking.

Nifty new bike. Enjoy! I wish Garmin would make the Edge 500 in red though. Are those the FSA compact bars? Nice aren't they?

NICE BIKE, but you need a wider garage door :) Looks like fun.
