Got a short break in the weather

Yesterday it was about 100F. Wasn't going to ride. We got about a 15-minute storm that cooled things down considerably. Got about a 12-mile ride in after the roads dried up a bit and before it got dark.

Sometimes we got to grab the time while we can.

Bet it was a nice ride with everything rinsed clean and the temps a little cooler.

I got an insulated water bottle. I fill it with cold Gatorade, it makes rideing on a hot day a little more tolerable.

It's July! ! ! ! Time for the sun to come out and a few heavy showers to arrive to cool things down.

After our 3 months of Summer in April- May and into June where we had the lowest rainfall in the UK for years- July is trying to replace all the rain we have been Missing. Get the rides in when you can.

Still---August is just around the corner--Wonder what that will bring.
