Longest Ride to Date! (w/pics)
I've been riding since June and have gradually worked my way up so that 10 mile rides are no longer a big deal. My longest before today was about 14 miles.
I'm planning on riding in a 25 mile group ride in early October and decided it was time to step things up if I want to enjoy the upcoming ride.
It was a nice, pleasant fall day and once I got riding it seemed I just couldn't stop. When it was all said & done, I had gone 21 miles!
I'm tired, but was in no way wiped out when I finished, so things are looking good for my October ride.
Here are a couple of photos from today's ride including a map of the route.

Nice pics. Looks like you're ready for the 25 miler.

It only gets better. I like your riding country. Can't go wrong: either North, South, East or West. Nice straight lines. Looks pretty flat, too.
