Reality

I'm accepting the reality that winter is just a short step away. https://networkedblogs.com/p2eIA

Vegas Vacation people, the riding weather here is great. Don't have to gamble if you don't want to. Lots of good deals on off strip locations, south end of Boulder Highway is close to the River MT loop that views Lake Mead.

Summerlin is close to Red Rocks and is a great riding mecca.

We've been waiting for the sub 100 degree weather to get riding in earnest. this is our time of year.

It's never the end of cycling season; I tried a trainer one year, and found that I prefer shorter rides in fresh (although cold) air to the mind-numbing sameness of spinning a trainer. :-)

Only for half the world. The other has summer knocking on the door and the days are getting longer.

A long (four-day) weekend at the beach for us from tomorrow night. We should be able to get our 1000km month completed, watch the finish of a bike race that is one of the oldest, wander through a ship museum, and play in the water lots.

Woo-Hoo!!!!!
