Finally getting to ride again!!!!
 

This week has marked my chance to ride again. After all the complications form the 2009 surgeries and fistula problems and repairs in 2010 my surgeon and primary care doctors said go for it. Monica and I rode all week in the evenings and are looking forward to a good Saturday ride with the fall weather. it sure is nice to ride some more!:thumb:

We rode this afternoon, weather was super. High of 68 with a stiff North wind at our head going out (North.) We are going to up the mileage a bit tomorrow since things went well this week. We will take it careful since I refuse to head back to the hospital within this lifetime.

Thanks Bigbadwulf, that is my cat Carl or as he is known at the dirt bike forums,"Motocross Cat" from the old Tony Bell Cycle News cartoons. he always sits up there or on the freezer when I am in the garage for MX or bicycling work sessions. he helped me get through all the surgeries and complications I had to go through. :rolleyes:Cat Scans,:innocent: you know.

Today was a super day with really mild temps and no wind to speak of. I'll leave this thread and just keep up with the "Did you ride today?" thread. Just wanted to share with my 50+ family that means so much to me:thumb:. thanks to Beverly and it is good to continue to read you news on your treatments. BD, you are an inspiration to me. Jan, Maybe, just maybe! Time for a classic steel or custom steel build I think. Thanks everyone for the encouragement and kind replies.
