Valentine's Day coming up-NOT OT

For those of you considering what you might want to get your sweetie this Valentine's Day, I have a suggestion. I bought the necklace I am wearing in the picture below from our own miss jean's website. She handcrafted it from a recycled bike spoke! It is very well made and comes on a strip of red suede. I love it! It is inexpensive, eco-friendly, heart shaped and very cool.

It came gift-wrapped and within a few days after ordering. ...And no, miss jean did not pay me to make this post! I just wanted to give her a shout-out and perhaps keep some of you guys out of the dog house!

"We" don't do Valentine's Day any more, but a nice necklace.

Why Miss Kenton, you're even prettier than we imagined.

What's the web site URL?

miss Kenton is a very nice person! :)

I had asked, if she didn't mind, could she take a photo - it gives me a new perspective when I see the items actually being worn - but, I thought she would send the photo just to me!

Seldom does the word 'spokesmodel' have such a literal meaning...

A good reminder for all us menfolk here.

But, for me, love is fickle and there will be no recipients this year.

Thanks for the link. I checked it out and there is certainly some unique and nice looking items. Certainly a gift to think about while helping out a BF 50+ member.

Should we order two items? One for the wife and one for the girlfriend?

Phil85207 01-21-12 11:02 PM

She has a very special talent for making something beautiful our of something ordinary.
