Just my 2 cents. Of course as an old style conservative I will defend your right to disagree with me and not call you names if you do so.
Please - let's not - please not - go there again.

No, they wouldn't. Goldwater, who was an idiot, would have thought them liberal. Churchill, who for all his many faults was a compassionate man, would have been incredulous at their imbecility.

Can we leave the friggin politics out of the 50+ forum, please. Every thread seems to somehow go that way. Just resist.

Exactly. Last time I was on the thread we were talking about hemorrhoids and laxatives.

Please boys, take it elsewhere.

+1 ...

Please leave the 50+ forum a peaceful and polite place where we can all exchange useful information in a collegial atmosphere.

* NOTE: If you want to talk politics though please feel free to join us in P&R where trashtalk is our official language.

You can make dreadlocks with your leg hair? I'm impressed.

I'm 58 but just stop by here from time to time. In my heart, I'm still in my 20s. However, it's nice hanging out with guys and gals my own age from time to time. You get the impression on many forums that most of the posters are in their teens, 20s and 30s.

This is a friendly and wide-ranging forum. Where else can you read about testosterone replacement and colonoscopies? I hang out mostly at the Commuting forum because most of my rides (altho not mileage) is from commuting, but also check out the Touring and Classic & Vintage forums often. C&V is another variation of 50+ in many ways.
