Yes, Raleigh did buy Carlton. There is a reason those bikes look alike. Both are Lagoon Blue, Carlton's team colors!

These are my wife's and my matching 1992 Diamond Back Ascent EX MTBs in an awesome deep purple color.


These are our sons' Diamond Back MTBs (early '90s AFAIK). The White one is a Topanga belonging to younger son and the black one is a Sorrento belonging to older son. Both have the cool, paint splatter look.

My 1973 Raliegh Super Course with a new paint job and up graded bits. Rode it on my 1 hr easy spin ride yesterday.
