Sad News

The fellow that was going to loan me the carbon wheels in my Yay or Nay Thread passed away Wednesday night of a heart attack.
He was 45 years old.

https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...170-Yay-or-Nay

Tim Chason will be missed by all that ever met him.

Sorry to hear of your friends passing. It sounds as if it was very unexpected, given the fact that he kept himself in shape.

I'm sorry to hear this Fred. 46 is way too young for this to happen to someone.

My condolences. As a kid, and as an adult, speaking from anecdotal experience, I've noticed that the latter 40's seems to be a tough time frame on men, health wise.

It is always particularly tough when the deceased is young and well-liked and the death is sudden. I went with 400 other mourners to a memorial service Thursday evening -- one of my wife's friends died abruptly from a ruptured abdominal aneurism, just shy of her 60th birthday, while on a ski trip with her high school sweetheart husband of 40 years and their children. She was a fit, health-conscious, warm and giving person who will be missed by all who knew her.

You have my sincere condolences -- I really do know how you feel.
