$20 for a great T-shirt, and a good cause?
Hi all, found out about this on a local (to me!) bike forum. As FiftyPlus is my "home" on BF and I know there's some generous folk on here, I thought that I'd share this with you . . .
This is a shout out from the Edinburgh of the South - Dunedin, New Zealand. We're a Trust that is trying to get a couple of old rail tunnels open to create a 'Tunnels Trail' cycleway that goes under two hills heading south from Dunedin.
It's been a long battle and we are still really only getting started. Lots more details on the Caversham Tunnel website.
Cutting to the chase, we're running a short fundraising campaign by selling Dry tech T-shirts from a US-based site: teespring.com/dttt2012. If we get at least 100 orders by the 4th of June then the Campaign is live, and at this stage we are tantalisingly close at 88! If we don't get to 100, then no-one gets a shirt and no money is collected.
This is a chance to wear a T-shirt that will get people curious and support a new cycleway at the same time :-)
Currently, they only need one more to hit the target. Will anyone on here break the barrier?
Thanks in advance if it's you
