No.I sold that a while ago. That's the bike that got me into biking about 2 and a half years ago.I did it on a 1987 Pinarello Montello.

Where did you start from? I always thought it was around 60 miles on the trail one way to Brewster from the city, but I could be wrong.

Awesome.
I find the long solo ride a test of physical and mental fortitude.
And it feels so good to come out of the other side.
Congratulations.

Maybe a burger to go with the birthday pie? Make sure to apply Heinz (57 Varieties) ketchup and relish in recognition of your 57th. Way to go.

Congratulations TREK330!

Centuries are always fun and they take so much less time than double centuries. I've really gotten into centuries this year; 14 so far and more to come.

Only 2 doubles, but one was on my birthday (62) so I'll likely live to be 200. Oh, wait . . . maybe not.

In the meantime I'll be trying the High Sierra Century on Sept. 8th (uses some of the same roads as the Eastern Sierra Double) and then riding the Knoxville Double (out of Vacaville) on Sept. 29th. That's always a fun ride!

Congrats on the century. Especially great since it was a solo ride with no pace lines to pull you along.

My 57th is comming up next week and I will probably just try to ride my age one day over the Labor Day holiday.

I haven't ridden a Century since 2000 - and I'm only 54!

In all fairness, I'll have to admit that I'm not at the top of my game. Weighing good German Beer and Bratwurst vs riding a solo century ( I have no riding partners)... Hmmmm.... Beer and Brats wins every time! I guess that explains why I'm 50 pounds overweight!

Remember those TV commercials from ten years ago? : "I've got to work on that..."

Terrific!!! I've also noticed that when I haven't done one in a while there is something about that 80 mile mark where it becomes more difficult. Becomes a mental game after that. Good for you.

Unfortunately I'm 25 lbs. overweight but I stopped the beer about 3 years ago.Thats the reason for my modest biking achievements. Thanks everyone for your warm salutations and comments! They helped make this a very happy birthday!
