Brr!! That time of year . . .

Friday Night

Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain, then a chance of snow and a chance of rain after midnight. Low of 25F. Winds from the ENE at 5 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation 50%

Saturday Night

Mostly cloudy with a chance of snow and rain showers in the evening, then clear. Low of 25F. Winds from the ESE at 5 to 10 mph shifting to the South after midnight.

It was 84F yesterday. The temp and weather will bounce all over the place from now on.

Stay warm and stay safe Denver. Thought about you and Mrs. Nora last evening watching the Weather Channel's vids and report on South Dakota's snow fall and the path for this early Blue Norther. No name under the new winter storm naming system, though.

The snowbirds and warm weather residents of the board will be logging in shortly to rub it in.

Temps dropping to single digits Celsius here in Vancouver, Canada. But still comfortable during the day, in the high teens Celsius. My new Showers Pass Elite cycling jacket has been getting a small workout in the morning, but only to keep me warm. The sunny weather is expected to last another week. I can't believe how long I've been able to ride without fenders!

It was 74F at 5AM this morning when I started my ride. Tomorrow will be in the upper 60s. But, these temps are high for this time of year. Usually in the early AM the high 40s to low 50s are the average Lo temps.

It was -3 C this morning and the high was in the single digits... I was in Bellingham yesterday and the weather was incredible as it has been warm and sunny and then drove home to Canuckistan.

It was even colder in the passes when I was passing through although there is not any snow... yet.

I went for a 3 hour ride - mostly stopping and taking fall foliage pictures. Actually, for me, it was really nice - abour 45F.
